Xerox Printers - Add New Printer for Windows 7 Users

How to set up your new Xerox Printer - Windows 7 users:

  1. Start > Devices and Printers
  2. In the new window, choose “Add a printer”
  3. In the “add a printer” pop up box.Click on “Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.
  4. Next, select the printer for your work area. (Stafford POD1, Stafford POD2, CSU, AWP etc..)
  5. Wait on the software to install to your workstation.
  6. Click next to get to the final step of the printer installation
  7. Click finish to complete the software installation.
  8. You will not be able to print until you set your ID for Secure Print. YOUR ID FOR SECURE PRINT IS YOUR EMPLOYEE ID (Clock in Number)
  9. In the device and printer window that is still open.Right click on the printer that you selected for install, then select printing preferences.
  10. Next in the Xerox printing preferences pop up window you will need to use the Job type drop down to select Secure Print.
  11. In the secure print pop up window, enter your 4 digit Indian River Employee Clock in number in the next field , re-enter it to confirm, then press ok.
  12. Next, click Apply and OK to complete the secure print set up, and are ready to print.
  13. Please be aware that your print job will be held at the Xerox printer until you release the job for printing with your Employee ID number.
